We host a monthly rally on the first Saturday of each month, from 10 a.m.-noon, along Main Street in Groton.
Location: Town Hall
THE NEXT STAND IS SATURDAY, AUGUST 1, 10-NOON.
We also have started a weekly Burma Shave-style Stand Out
the second Thursday of every month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at Four Corners in Groton, on the sidewalk at the light. The themes will alternate and include TRUMP LIES (see the slideshow). People will line up in a row so drivers can read the signs in order.
Please use the Sign Up form to express your interest in Standing Out on Thursdays. We need 20 people to move forward, so keep an eye out for emails each month.
NO KINGS
March 28, 2026
700 people came out on March 28 for No Kings, in our town of 11,000—almost double 3.5% of the population.
Historically, campaigns reaching this 3.5% threshold of sustained, active participation during a peak event have never failed to achieve their goals.

Volunteer & Donate
If you can help out on the day of the rallies, please let us know. Tasks include: Set Up (arrive at 9 a.m.), Water (provide water and paper cups), Breakdown and Clean Up.
If it looks like there will be a turnout of more than 150, we always hire a police detail. Other ongoing costs include web site hosting and sign materials and printing, We also would like to purchase another speaker for music during the rallies.
